Brief History: Ray Terrill grew up as a celebrity, the kid who had a fatal and rare disease and could never come out into the sun. Nicknamed 'Nightboy' by the press, he lived in darkness for 18 years, until a prank by his cousin revealed the truth. Not only did sunlight not kill him, it gave him incredible powers!
Learning of his heritage, he discovered his father was a WW2 hero and had kept him in the dark, literally, to protect him from his own power and history. Ray became a superhero named the Ray, but slowly discovered that he did not really fit into the hero crowd. He also had discovered a passion for computers and programming an hacking while stuck in the darkness, and he refined that upon coming out of the darkness.
Slowly, he is moving away from heroing, redefining his life as a computer programmer who has an interest in designing clothing.

Ray got in the door and smiled as he shed his jacket and tie, and let everything else fade away.
It had been a long few weeks and he was tired, but very glad to be home.
He cast a glance around for his wife and smiled as he entered the bedroom, seeing her on it asleep, and the baby sleeping in her crib quiet also.
He settled next to his wife after stripping down, and snuggled close. |
